Custom Critter Creations is a business Alecia developed at college after experimenting with woodburning some of her projects.  She can take any picture that you have, print it off on a normal piece of paper (which she calls a "pattern") and transfers the picture to a project and burns it.  All of these projects have general prices, please call if you have anything special to do or if it is for awards, something to be donated, etc.  Shipping IS ADDED  to the general price, we can do estimates.  The projects possible are limited only by your imagination!

End Tables=$150

This OPSU Centennial table is the first real project that was donated to the Equestrian team to sell for a fundraiser.  The barbed wire is actually hammered into the wood and then the indentations are burned.  This is an all pine table with routered legs.

Picture
This table is a pine center and walnut border, another donation to the Equestrian team's fundraising efforts.  This table has the Equestrian team's logo on it, and is our most popular table type.

This table was made to special order for Karen's birthday.  It is the right dimensions to set next to her recliner and hold a calculator so she can work in comfort.  The horse is most definitly our old gelding, Squirt.  The picture below is the photo I used to create this image on the table.

This table was made for a cattleman, with his prize bull being the picture.  May this be a good lesson-he wasn't sure if it would turn out right when his wife told him why she needed the picture, but when it was delivered he knew the burn was from the bull's 2 year old year.  You can tell it's yours!

He liked it so much, he has ordered another table for his business partner (to give for christmas) and I will be putting another farm's logo on it.

These 3 tables were done as awards for the Junior beef showmanship classes at the Northern Exposure near Chico, CA.  One table was made for each division, one for Jr, Int, and Sr.  These tables went over very well, and are easy to put together.  Just place each numbered leg with it's numbered bracket and use the washer and wing nut (included) to hold them on.

This table was done for Betty to be donated to the local church's auction.  It has the church with the ramp and sign in front.

Picture
This table was done for an OPSU football coach with the team logo.  A small barb wire print was used to frame it and it is an all pine table with jel-stain on the flames, lettering and outside border of the table.  It sits outside on his porch and he is very happy with it.

Here is the awaited relation to the Hereford table, same picture of the bull, but with the business partner's family logo blazed on the bottom.  I copied everything from the family logo except being able to color the hay bale green.  They don't make stains in that color!

Picture
This table was special ordered from a family friend to fit between two recliners.  The squares I carved out of the pine are for 2 ceramic coasters that (she is going to order with her kids' Senior pictures on them) will fit in the slots to provide a place for plates and drinks.  I took the liberty to burn a "B" in between to dress it up a little.

Coffee Tables= $250-$300

Picture
This was the final project for the Equestrian team, a full coffee table with pine centers and walnut borders.  The cutting horse was hand drawn by one of Alecia's freinds, who is an art major, and the horse shoes in the corners were drawn directly from a size 0 shoe.

Household projects

Picture
This dresser is made of red oak, has 6 drawers, and bent horse shoes for handles.  This item is for example only, as it is a larger project, and cannot be easily delivered or shipped.

Picture
This desk was made out of pure necessity, it is a very small, half round desk made of red oak veneer plywood, once again bent horseshoes were used as handles for the drawer and door.  There is also a small shelf to fit in the corner, as you can see.

Odds and Ends

Picture
This jewelry box was made for a family friend's birthday.  This box is one exception, as Alecia has found out that people just don't seem to turn out the way you want, and recommends not to have people burned from pictures.  Their birthday(which is the same) is burned on the inside of one door with their anniversary date burned in the other.  The corners are pine, the outside is cherry, and the red stuff is called African puduke.

This twist lamp was made by hand for Betty as a Christmas present. It went over well.  It is walnut, with a Wal-mart shade and lamp kit.  The wiring for the light bulb is run through a 1/4" shaft that is originally meant for sinks.

Picture
This semi and trailer was done for a classmate to use in a table much like mine.  It was intended to be a present to his dad.  This print is a full 22'' long, and was done by taping 2 sheets of paper together to get the whole image.  I was able to get the family name on both the trailer and the semi along with the semi number on the front.
